Individual face-to-face training

Individual face-to-face courses are the most popular learning method with our learners. Convivial and effective, our individual courses enable you to make rapid progress in optimal learning conditions.

If you’re a beginner, you’ll start by learning the language’s basic grammar and vocabulary. From the very first lesson, you’ll learn to say a few useful phrases! Once you’ve acquired the basics of the language, you can concentrate on specific subjects: the language of your profession, useful expressions for traveling, reflexes for answering the phone.

If you have an intermediate or advanced level in the language, you will work on the precise objectives you defined at the start of the course. Would you like to improve your listening skills during teleconferences?  Together with your trainer, you can listen to audio extracts chosen according to your level and needs. Depending on your company’s rules, you can even listen to a few minutes of a recorded teleconference, to work on the vocabulary and accent of the people you often hear on the phone !

Individual distance training

For people who already have an intermediate level in the language, distance learning can be an excellent solution !

Telephone lessons will help you develop your oral fluency and comprehension. You can choose to work with a single trainer to deepen your understanding of specific topics, or with several trainers to improve your understanding of different accents.

Telephone lessons usually last 30 minutes, but you can opt for longer lessons if you wish. Whatever the length of your lessons, it’s a good exercise in comprehension and concentration !

Videoconferencing courses can be a good solution for people who are often on the move, or whose schedules don’t allow them to take courses on a regular basis. Eye-to-eye contact adds a friendly dimension to the lessons, and means that this type of training can also be envisaged for language beginners, when face-to-face lessons are either not possible or impractical.

An adapted training method and learning pace

As well as choosing the right training methods, you also need to learn at the right pace. To make good progress in a foreign language, you need to set up a real training dynamic. Ideally, we recommend weekly courses : an hour-and-a-half or two-hour course if you are taking a face-to-face course, or a 30-minute telephone course.

A course every week is not an option? However, you’ll need to find a time to work regularly, especially if you’re new to the language. Between your lessons, your trainer will give you a few assignments to complete, so that you can see real progress from session to session. You can also set yourself challenges: before my next lesson, I’ll make a phone call in the target language instead of writing an e-mail, or I’ll listen to a podcast or watch my favorite series in VO! A 30, 45 or 60-minute lesson by telephone or videoconference.
